Tweets and the President-elect

While, the recent election has incited a number of different emotions. President-Elect Trump has taken to twitter many times to let the people know what is on his mind; however, many find these tweets questionable from a Presidential candidate.

President-elect Trump has 19.5 million followers on twitter. This makes him the 70th most followed person on Twitter, in front of the BBC, Google, and Snoop Dogg. The effect social media has on politics increases every year, as more and more people have access to it. Twitter is often used by politicians to connect to millennials. However; the president-elect’s tweets have garnered more than just the attention of millennials. It seems as though people worldwide are now looking to the United States, more specifically the president’s main means of communicating with the people he represents.

Some argue this can only be a good thing, and is getting young people more involved in politics, others feel it does quite the opposite.

Having a good relationship with Russia is a good thing, not a bad thing. Only “stupid” people, or fools, would think that it is bad! We…..

Tweets such as this one shine a different light on President-Elect Trump’s tweets. Whatever opinion people have on the president-elect’s twitter, it is clear there are multiple facets to it, some that are good and some that are questionable.
